History of GlobalTrust is a history of a new generation of the Russian hi-tech business which is forcing its way through by using the best practices, knowledge, and professionalism.
| 2003 | Foundation of GlobalTrust Solutions LLC. In 2003 the russian information security market began to reach the saturation. The most mature russian companies began to realise a priority of organizational measures over technical controls. There was a severe shortage of the information security management services and tools based on approved methodology and the international standards. GlobalTrust has been initially created to satisfy these growing needs. |
| 2004 | Russian edition of international standard ISO 17799 is released, a complete set of ISMS document templates and the new training courses on security audit are developed. |
| 2005 | The conclusion of a distributor agreement with British Standards Institution, the first projects in Russia on ISMS developement, implementation, and certification according to ISO 27001. |
| 2006 | Creation of specialized online information security store GTrust.ru, Russian editions of ISO 27001, BS 7799-3 are released, delivery of BSI certificated training courses on information security management and ISMS, conclusion of partner agreements with IT Gorvernance, Information Shield, SpectorSoft and other british and american security vendors. |
| 2007 | Creation of the web portal ISO27000.RU, BSI Registered Member status is granted to GlobalTrust. |
| 2008 | GlobalTrust among the leaders in the field of personal information protection services. Information security risk assessment and management methodology is developed by on the basis of ISO 27005 and BS 7799-3. GlobalTrust security products distribution devision represents more than 30 information security vendors. |

The most comprehensive collection of information security policy document templates in Russia is created by GlobalTrust including documents for development of Personal Information Management System and Information Security Management System. |
| 2010 | The Art of Information Security Risk Management book is published. |
| 2011 | More than 500 companies choose GlobalTrust as information security service provider or product supplier. We represent more than 50 vendors. |
| 2012 | GlobalТrust Group is created that includes service provider, product reseller, consulting and distribution divisions. GlobalTrust protects bank payment systems, SCADA systems, online shops, and the wide range of modern IT infrastructure objects. |
